Jesus modeled prayer as being one of the most important disciplines that a person could practice in his or her spiritual journey. The early church modeled how important prayer was to them in order to overcome obstacles and to fulfill the calling God directly placed on them. They disciplined themselves and learned to pray faithfully, fervently, and frequently. But prayer is not an end in itself. The ultimate goal of prayer is spending time with God. This sermons series focuses on how prayer helps develop a passion to be in God’s presence.
