Reaching Forward

During 2008, Greystone Building Committee spent time discussing and planning the first phase of the Master Building Plan with Wade-Parrish Architectural firm. In the Master Plan, this 14 acre parcel of land will house a 25 year long-range vision that includes a worship center, garden atrium, senior citizen center, counseling center, and children and youth facilities, including playground and gym facility.

First Phase

Multifunctional
The construction of this building will provide a tool for ministry like never before. Imagine not only a permanent home for worship and discipleship for the church, but a new day care center aimed at reaching a new generation of children for Christ.
• 11,520 total square feet.
• 200 seat capacity in auditorium/fellowship
• Fully equipped kitchen for large meal capacity
• State of the art audio/visual technology
• 8 interchangeable classrooms for Day Care and SS needs
• Large Welcome/Greeting area with hospitality cafe

Floor Plan

Day Care Center
Greystone anticipates utilizing this first phase as a children’s daycare center in the immediate future. As a part of our vision to reach each new generation for Christ, we feel that a new daycare center is a much needed ministry to the Dothan area.

Community Park and Garden Project A portion of our vision includes opening up this wonderful piece of property to serve our community as well. Designed into our first phase is a Community Park which will include a ˝ mile walking track around the perimeter of the property, prayer stations at various points on the track, and a children’s playground. In addition, future plans also include Project 637, a large garden dedicated to growing fresh produce for area food and social service organizations. If you are wondering what the 637 represents, read Mark 6:37 for yourself.
